Yup, that's right, the long, long, longstanding question of whether an Edgar Wright directed Ant-Man movie would ever happen has finally been answered.

Okay, so Edgar Wright's Ant-Man is totally, sort of, possibly happening.

"Shaun of the Dead" and "Hot Fuzz" are two very, very funny movies that combine genres that shouldn't work together (romantic slacker comedy and zombie movie, and psychological thriller and idiot buddy cop movie, respectively) and turn them into sheer genius.

I could sit here and make up some topical reason to pay tribute to Hot Fuzz, but being topical is overrated, and Hot Fuzz is super awesome and that's really all the reason I need.

This weekend it was reported all over the place that Sean Daniel, the producer of Mummy and Wolfman, owns the film rights to the "Dead Island" video game (awesome trailer here).
