In an engrossing piece on Fiona Apple published yesterday by Vulture, writer Dan Lee got to know the eccentric songbird, who apparently makes friends with writers quickly and easily.

In his review of Fiona Apple's show at SXSW, Brandon at With Leather noted that Apple's first new album in years was due out in June and would hopefully "lead to a sort-of cultural relevancy rebirth for Apple.

Or, as she might title it, "When Fiona Apple performs at SXSW, and Andrew Bird performs later, but there are a few people in-between and the photographers are crammed together and in the way, so you leave as soon as she's done," or simply, "Fiona Apple performs.

Zach Galifianakis and Fiona Apple have been good friends for some time.
