To honor the 70th anniversary of the attacks on Pearl Harbor, a group of 24 World War II veterans associated with a Denver-based group called The Greatest Generation Foundation went to Hawaii recently to pay their respects.

If you have eyes, you've probably seen print ads for CBS's remake of "Hawaii Five-0," starring Scott Caan, Daniel Dae Kim ("Lost"), the delicious Grace Park ("Battlestar Galactica"), and the blandly handsome guy that CBS keeps casting in shows that fail (Alex O'Loughlin of  "Three Rivers" and "Moonlight").

I'm looking forward to CBS's remake of "Hawaii Five-O" (largely due to Grace Park in a bikini) in the fall, but -- oh, I'm sorry.

Now that Fox has unveiled its fall 2010 schedule, we know that one of next year's mid-season pick-ups will be "Terra Nova," the Steven Spielberg-produced drama about a family 100 years in the future that goes back in time 150 million years to, uh, fight dinosaurs or whatever.

In what's slowly becoming one of the more talked-about pilots this season, Scott Caan has been cast as Danny "Danno" Williams in the CBS remake of "Hawaii Five-O.

It's a pretty slow Monday morning, so here's your hot Korean chick-themed pilot update: Grace Park, who co-starred in "The Cleaner" but is best known for her role on "Battlestar Galactica," has been added to the cast of the reboot of "Hawaii Five-O.

There's an interesting article in Sunday's New York Times about how almost every old television show that gets rebooted or remade fails miserably, yet Hollywood keeps on producing remakes.
