The embattled miniseries "The Kennedys" will air on ReelzChannel (for reelz) next month, and the upstart cable channel has released a new trailer that doesn't give the series any new meaning to me (video below).

In its ongoing effort to catalog the great tapestry of the American experience, the History Channel will continue to not air anything about the Kennedys, and instead begin airing a reality show about taxidermy.

With the 150th anniversary of the start of the Civil War coming this year, the History channel is teaming up with director Ridley Scott to make an annual week of programming that will focus on America's deadliest war -- a move that Inside TV is calling "Shark Week with muskets.

The History Channel is making its first foray into scripted television with "The Kennedys," an eight-part miniseries starring Greg Kinnear and Katie Holmes that may or may not be a right-wing hatchet job.

Gratuitous censorship turns this "Ice Road Truckers" clip into "Ice Road F*ckers," and even though the premise is childish and well-worn (see Jimmy Kimmel's similar bit  or Food Network porn), I still think it's funny.
