Here's the Tyler, the Creator-directed Mountain Dew that got pulled for being too racist.

This picture Taco from Odd Future posted to Instagram last night of he and Tyler, the Creator hanging with Donald Trump just cracks me the hell up.

Frank Ocean's Nostalgia, Ultra was not only one of 2011's best mixtapes, but one of the year's best albums in general.

I can't really claim to say that I know what's going on here, so let me allow Pitchfork to attempt to make sense of this since they at least pretend to "get" Odd Future.

I know what you're thinking: "How can I get more of Odd Future and their wacky antics.

I've never thought of myself as someone who brings the hip hop coverage on the reg (lots of Radiohead on my iPod) but seeing as how my previously discussed Wu-Tang Clan obsession in high school gives me all the street cred in the world AND awesome interminglings of hip hop and web culture keep falling in my lap (previously: Hip Hop Humor, Rapper Spelling Bee) it's like I'd be denying the universe if I didn't answer the calling.

If there's one thing we learned in 2011 it's that professional photographers, even lady ones, are in danger of being assaulted if they dare to shoot an Odd Future show, just like there's a good chance you could get kicked in the head or something if you're in the audience.

Remember that photographer who allegedly got the piss smacked out of her by "Left Brain" of Odd Future from merely being a photographer doing her job at last weekend's Voodoo Fest in New Orleans.

Okay, I get that Tyler, the Creator and his crew are "punk" and are thus prone to do outrageous things just to troll us all, but I think they're beginning to cross the line into dudes-who-need-butt-kickings territory: at a performance last night at Voodoo Fest in New Orleans, the Odd Future boys attacked the photographers taking pic of their show, even slapping one female photographer so hard that she was knocked to the ground.
