So, you might have heard that there are a whole bunch of ending spoilers circulating about "The Avengers", courtesy of io9.

We all know that even though comic book movies have become much more serious and respected, there will still be lots of ridiculous toys, and with those ridiculous toys will come spoilers.

According to a recent study, spoilers tend to actually increase people's enjoyment of a story, perhaps because it becomes easier to process something cognitively when it's more familiar or perhaps because we just love having one over on all the other suckers who don't know Kevin Spacey is Keyser Soze.

As I've stated previously, spoiler alert whiners on the internet are the bane of my existence.

One of the mainstays of life in the digital era is the "spoiler alert" -- the need to toss out a disclaimer that you may be about to reveal a plot point to a movie or a film that someone has yet to see.
