Double Fine's adventure game finally has a name...

So, the most talked about gaming story of the past week has been Tim Schafer's Double Fine collecting, as of this writing, nearly 2-million dollars via Kickstarter to make a new adventure game.

So, for the past week or so we've been following this story about the creator of Minecraft, Notch, wanting to fund a sequel to Tim Schafer's underrated adventure-platformer Pyschonauts.

As Dan already reported, yesterday Tim Schafer started a Kickstarter campaign to fund the making of a new adventure game through his company Double Fine, and ended up collecting over 400 thousand dollars in less than 24-hours, which is pretty damn awesome news.

I may not be hugely into Minecraft, but the game's creator Notch (aka Markus Persson) seems like a cool guy, and my opinion of the dude was only solidified last night when he sent Tim Schafer a tweet saying he'd like to help create a sequel to Psychonauts.

I can't think of an original-concept game I've been more excited about than Tim Schafer's Brutal Legend.
