Man, no wonder Timur Bekmambetov started talking about "Wanted 2" a week before this movie came out.

"Prometheus" did pretty well financially: it lost out to dancing circus animals at the box office, but still grossed $50 million.

"Men in Black 3" knocked "The Avengers" out of the number one spot this weekend, grossing $70 million over Memorial Day Weekend.

Considering who it was up against, "Dark Shadows" did respectably well at the box office last weekend: it walked away with $28 million, which would be bad news if it weren't up against "The Avengers", which made $100 million last weekend and is probably coming to curbstomp "Battleship" next Friday as well.

We know what audiences thought: "Wrath of the Titans" just took over half of what the remake did as it got bulldozed by "The Hunger Games".

Small order of business: if you're about to comment to whine about how it's just a "Battle Royale" rip-off, read this.
