‘Simpsons’ Creator Matt Groening’s 1989 Apple Ad Campaign

You know, sometimes things are slow on the Internet on a summer Friday and then suddenly she, the Internet, parts her thighs and gives birth to something wonderful, just for us. This is one of those times.

Apparently, Simpsons creator Matt Groening was once hired by Apple to create an ad campaign aimed at college students. It appears to have been created in 1989, just before the show became a full-fledged series on Fox (Previously, it was a regular short on The Tracey Ullman Show).
