Oh hey remember when Justin Timberlake and some of his friends bought Myspace? Well are you ready for the sexy to finally come back?
California-based “social entertainment destination” Myspace has been revamped ‘totally from scratch’ and while not available to the public yet, it is available to preview in this promotional video…Myspace also recently announced a partnership with Panasonic to bring a social TV service called Myspace TV as a “new way to experience all the shows you love…” Users can sign up to get an invitation from the new Myspace when it’s ready to launch.
Let’s take a closer look, shall we…
As much as I want to crap all over this, because it’s Myspace, this actually looks pretty damn good. So you guys will just have to settle for this cat crapping GIF instead, okay?

Why do I want this so much? It looks….so inviting…..
where are the commercials/adds? Unless this becomes a pay site seems like they are not truly showing the full product
Yeah, that was my first thought, too. This is going to get dirtied up with ads and then it won’t like so clean. Plus, looking good doesn’t equal functionality so, while this video makes it look awesome (kinda helps when every picture is a beautiful shot of a beautiful person, too) there’s no way to tell if it does the things you want it to do well or even at all.
I’d like it to be awesome, so I don’t mean to sound like I’m hating on it or anything. I just think it’s healthy to be a bit hesitant at this early stage.
Of course, we can all hope it’s wildly successful if that means Timberlake will be so busy with this thing that we never have to hear him sing or watch him act again.
I love that GIF. Screw MySpace
Looks neat. Also I like that song.
Garth Brooks : Chris Gaines :: Miley Cyrus : Emeli Sande?
I trust a company owned in part by Timberlake more than the one owned in part by the asshole he played in The Social Network.
User experience and design are solid here. I am impressed – if this translates to tablets def transcends Facebook timeline experience, which is inferior to previous wall.
Myspace was the greatest tool for cheating. Welcome back my friend.
Well that doesn’t look terrible.
It certainly looks nice, but I bet we find that it will be way too over complicated for your average young teenager. That’s only saying if that’s their main target audience.
social sight for grownfolk
Look’s good, I too am dubious as to where the revenue will be coming from, but requested an invite anyway.
