LANCE REDDICK: SO HOT RIGHT NOW

Until this TV season, Lance Reddick was best known for his portrayal of Cedric Daniels on “The Wire.” But the Yale-trained actor with the haunted face and haunting baritone has also become a fixture on FOX’s “Fringe” (as federal agent Philip Broyles) and ABC’s “Lost,” in which he plays mysterious facilitator Matthew Abaddon.  The LA Times has a pretty solid feature on Reddick’s rising career:

“Lost” executive producers Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof said they felt very fortunate to have brought the fearsome-looking actor into their spooky serialized hit.

“One of the things we really gravitated toward was that Lance is very scary looking [oh, because he's black? - Ed.], and he’s a very intensive actor who also has this incredible charisma,” said Lindelof.

I don’t want to wave at everyone too grandly from the Reddick bandwagon, but the fact that he plays a key role on tonight’s episode of “Lost” (see the video below) is almost enough to make me watch.  If they can minimize the time travel and maybe have Evangeline Lilly prance around in some lingerie, I’m totally there.
