In a story that will no doubt shake the nation to its very core, Stacey Anderson’s ex-husband has claimed that the star of TV Land’s “The Cougar” has been an absentee mother.
Steve Anderson, Stacey’s former hubby and father of her three kids, tells Inside Edition, “She was so absent from school functions and games it just killed me. I was making excuses for it to the kids … mom is really busy. For an entire year she didn’t take them for an overnight.”
He also tells the news show that after their divorce in 2002, he got full custody of their children and that she was largely never around. “I’ve shed many tears with my kids over this — she waltzes in every so often.” [Fancast]
Whoa, whoa, whoa! Hold the phone for a second. Is he trying to say that a 40-year-old woman who has obviously been focused on taking care of her looks and is the star of a TV show called “The Cougar” in which she dates men at least a decade younger is… is a bad mother? Okay, good. That’s why we love her! Just think how less hot she’d be if she had been taking care of those buzzkill kids for all those years.
