Here we have another episode of Auto-Tune the News, my favorite Internet phenomenon that no one in my parents’ generation would find remotely amusing. I really do find it amazing that people can take the banality of legislative discussion on C-SPAN and make it into a B-grade music video with a song that I actually find to be kind of catchy.
Additional auto-tuning this week comes from Sarah Palin’s resignation and the news coverage of Michael Jackson’s death. And I don’t want to kick her while she’s down,* but Palin’s speech is awful even in auto-tune.
*I would love to kick her while she’s down.

After watching that, I realized I exponentially increased the amount of time I’ve actually listened to a session of Congress. And enjoyed it. Do you think they could Auto-tune my law professors?
1) Auto-tune is way more entertaining than it should be.
2) Michele Bachmann should go back to her home planet.
3) Apropos of nothing, I’m hungry.
Mesmerizing
“no one in my parents’ generation would find remotely amusing. ”
Not true. It makes your mom giggle. Among other things.
Your parents also probably do not “get” the awesomeness of the panda bear and Toonces.
2) Michele Bachmann should go back to her home planet.
The people of Batshittia don’t want her back.
And seriously, it’s hard to make Sarah Palin look smart by comparison, but Bachmann pulls it off. Nice job, Suzie Short Bus.
i tapped out at 42 seconds. just awful.
i also might be in your parent’s generation depending on how fucked up/white trash your family is.
