Well, this is disappointing. When I saw this YouTube playlist of various “Saturday Night Live” auditions (via metafilter) — including John Belushi, Will Ferrell, and Phil Hartman — I was excited to watch them and report my findings. Unfortunately, much like watching SNL in real time, it was a slow, painful waste of time with too few highlights. In fact, I wouldn’t post this at all, except I wasted most of an hour watching the auditions, so I was committed to follow through.
I admit, this isn’t the best post to ever appear on Warming Glow. It’s probably one of the worst. My point is HEY LOOK OVER THERE AT THAT AMAZING THING I CAN’T BELIEVE MY EYES!!! **runs away**

Hmmm, about that Mad Men review…
I don’t do fucking reviews. Or recaps. Recaps are gay.
I don’t care if this was a waste of time. You ALWAYS respect Unfrozen Caveman Lawyer.
It creeps me out no end that the background of the video is the same color as the site background. I put my fist through the screen trying to grab Phil Hartman and save him from his wife, and now I have delicious Liquid Crystal Display ground into my bloody knuckles.
No wonder his wife shot him. What a tedious wanker.
My brother always used that trick to drink my milk. Which is weird, because we always had plenty of milk in the fridge.
i have to disagree. these are fascinating. and you can see the greatness of the perfer in some of them, like phil hartman’s.
