Mackenzie Phillips, daughter of Mamas and the Papas singer John Phillips and star of the ’70s/’80s sitcom “One Day at a Time,” will appear on today’s “Oprah Winfrey Show” to promote her new book, High on Arrival. The book details a lifelong battle with every drug imaginable, as well as typical events in the life of a child growing up in a rock ‘n roll lifestyle, such as her seduction by Mick Jagger and her SEXUAL RELATIONSHIP WITH HER FATHER. “On the eve of my wedding, my father showed up, determined to stop it,” writes Phillips, who was 19 and a heavy drug user at the time. “I had tons of pills, and Dad had tons of everything too. Eventually I passed out on Dad’s bed.”
