As semi-accurately revealed in yesterday’s What’s on Tonight, last night’s episode of “How I Met Your Mother” featured cats in bridesmaid dresses during a dream-sequence wedding near the end of the show. And I understand that you probably saw this picture yesterday, but it just didn’t feel right to not give this subject its own dedicated post. I want to use positive reinforcement to foster an environment where television shows are encouraged to put animals in costumes as much as possible. For example, Sunday night’s “Mad Men” was one of the darkest, most complex, and most jarring episodes in the show’s history… but wouldn’t it have been EVEN BETTER if it had a wiener dog in a fedora? I say yes.
Anyway, I’ve often grumbled about how “Your Mother” is frustratingly uneven because the show’s premise is anchored to its least likable character, but more episodes with cats in clothes will silence my complaints.
ADORABLE UPDATE: As requested, I’ve added a picture of a philandering, Don Draper-esque wiener dog sporting a fedora. And also some other picture of wiener dogs in costumes, because — oh c’mon, do I really need a reason?

Perhaps a nice hat and cape.
I see your cats dressed like dapper little Dickensonian felines and raise you two misbehaved kittens in full suits.
man, if this was filmdrunk, vince woulda put a weiner dog in a fedora up already for our enjoyment. Get on with the photoshoppery already, Matt!
@Rebecca: That picture is all kinds of awesome.
Oh, Draperdog, you keep whoring it up. I know you’re just nervous that someone will uncover your secret identity.
His secret identity? Dick Wiener.
His creator? Matthew Wiener.
I can look at that picture for a really long time.
the kids don’t know what philandering means
That dachshund on a bun is the cutest fucking thing I’ve ever seen in my life.
