Like most people, I’ve always thought of Subaru as the nation’s leading supplier of station wagons and hatchbacks for lesbian couples. But I have to give them credit: this ad making fun of the Snuggie is actually very clever, and it doesn’t even have any lesbians in it.
I like clever things that I understand, because it makes me feel clever as well, even though I have the analytical skills of a fourth-grader. However, that’s still two full grades ahead of the average American. America: where being less dumber are great!

Needs more lesbians.
That was good. This is probably old, but I hadn’t seen it until the other day. Best commercial I’ve seen in a very long time.

CAN YOU SEE THAT HE IS SERIOUS? GET OUT OF HIS WAY! THIS IS NO PLACE FOR LOAFERS. JOIN HIM OR DIE. CAN YOU DO ANY LESS?
@ Vodka
That commercial settles it. Lifting up skirts, messing up hair, and throwing shit on the ground, etc? Yep, I’ll be going to Halloween parties as “The Wind” this year.
@ Lenny.
I accept your challenge! Awesome power!
Just keep in mind, despite the incessant hawking of flagship lesbianmobiles, the WRX STi is one bad ass automobile, so Subaru always has that going for them.
Man, i hope there’s a take where the guy stalls it.
But some of those people took their Snuggie to a football game!
F You Subaru!
Every single goddamned car ad looks like this (minus the Snuggie, of course). They park the car on some fantastic beach, or lakeside, or overlook that doesn’t actually exist in anyplace that’s remotely accessible by that actual vehicle, and that nobody who actually owns the car would ever end up going to anyways.
What, this isn’t cool?

Homos that take cycling seriously are also in the Subaru demographic.
A Subaru always handles better when wearing comfortable shoes so it’s a natural accessory for the tongue-n-groove crowd.
A Subaru WRX or Legacy GT are really fun cars to drive. I cant hate on Subaru.
Pontiac on the other hand. I have never seen a happy person driving a pontiac. They alway looked pissed off.
