Business Dog got a call-back for the lead role
NBC has ordered a pilot from Conan O’Brien’s production company, Conaco. The script for the one-hour legal drama, according to The Hollywood Reporter, is “one of the most buzzed about at NBC in the past couple of weeks.”
The untitled O’Brien project, known as “Justice,” was written by John Eisendrath. Described as a new take on a law show with a larger-than-life character at the center, it follows an ex-Supreme Court justice who quits the Court to start his own legal practice. [THR]
Hmmm… so a guy quits his high-profile dream job to pursue something more fulfilling, eh? It sounds perfect for NBC. Maybe they should put it at 10 p.m. There’s room on the schedule there, right?

a larger-than-life character = The Masturbating Bear
I was just thinking that there wasn’t enough legal dramas on TV…. sounds like another winner for NBC. Then again if Leno’s 10pm abortion is the measuring stick I’m sure it will be fine.
This will just be replaced by Leno’s new Law & Order idea.
Also co-starring District Attorney Richie “La Bamba” Rosenberg.
“Business Dog got a call-back for the lead role”
Business Dog had a solid resume and a good reel, but Party Dog got the part because he’s much better in the room.
People say “abortion” like it’s a bad thing. Abortions can be good! Like the abortion Jay Leno’s mother should have gotten.
The show is one of the most buzzed about in the last few weeks? NBC knows they have a whole year to decide what to put on, right?
Shouldn’t his company be called “CocoCo?”
Any bets on if that character is Shatner?
