Ordinarily, I wouldn’t be interested in a mash-up of a movie that came out six months ago and a TV show that ended almost three years ago, but this video is pretty solid. What it lacks in timeliness it makes up for in execution.
Because TV talking heads had the brilliant realization that Where the Wild Things Are voice actor James Gandolfini previously starred in “The Sopranos,” the Internet naturally matched Tony Soprano lines to WTWTA video. The result: a monster swearing at a child. Frankly, I think it’s pretty realistic. I mean, when kids imagine monsters, it makes sense for them to sound like mommy’s boyfriend when he’s angry.

It would be more realistic if Gandolfini heavily breathed directly into the mic like he did in every Sopranos episode.
The only thing I really hate about the Soprano’s is when people try to tell me that it’s better than The Wire. One is cube steak; the other is filet mignon.
It’s ok, Matt. It’s Monday. We understand…
Why did James Gandolfini steal Robert Duvall’s advice from Colors? Did he credit Colors during the Soprano’s ep? That was confusing as all hell…
