On Monday, Monica Beresford-Redman, the wife of “Survivor” producer Bruce Beresford-Redman, went missing from the Cancun resort where she was staying with her husband and two children. Today, police arrested Bruce Beresford-Redman after his wife’s dead body was discovered (another report says he’s “detained as a suspect“).
The woman’s family filed a missing person’s report with the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department, said Det. Diane Harris. “They believed it had something to do with foul play,” Harris said.
The investigation is being handled by Mexican authorities. Calls to the U.S. Embassy in Mexico were not immediately returned.
Oof, this is terrible news. And it’s not heartening to hear that the Mexican authorities are on the case. For the sake of justice, I hope the Mexican cops in Cancun are more like Charlton Heston in Touch of Evil than the ones I’ve dealt with in Rosarita and Tijuana. Hey, you know how it is: you go on spring break, and you need some money for beer, so you tell some shady guys “Sure, I’ll swallow this condom filled with heroin.” We’ve all been there.

It should have been you, Jeff Probst.
The tribe has spoken.
This looks like…

Wehavehair, what do you have against Probst? You should have said, “Should have been you, Boston Rob Mariano”.
Matt, that wasn’t heroin you swallowed.
@Enrico, that would require
admitting towatching the show.Were there any survivors?
WTF is with the last names? Did they both hyphenate their names upon marriage?
