Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim, the weirdos behind Adult Swim/Cartoon Network’s “Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!” directed these new Old Spice “Odor Blocker” ads, and they’re so over-the-top ridiculous that I can’t help but love them. They’re reminiscent of one of the greatest Internet videos ever made, the Powerthirst commercial. But are they better than the “I’m on a horse” guy? It’s hard to say. That guy had a horse, and it is April Foals Day.

Old Spice freakin’ nailed these. I played the shot before reading and immediately thought Powerthirst, too.

For a brief horrifying moment Stallone was going to cast that mush-mouthed fool 50 Cent in THE EXPENDABLES. But after the instant and violent outcry from fanboys he reconsidered and cast Terry Crews instead.
