‘Mad Men’ Countdown: 6 Days

Today has been impossibly slow, so I’m instituting a new feature for the next week: The Official Warming Glow “Mad Men” Season 4 Countdown. Every day until the season premiere on Sunday, I’ll be featuring a memorable image (or images) from the show’s first three seasons to honor the show’s distinct visual style and memorable moments (such as the Don Draper fingerbang and the lawnmower incident). And also because it’s an easy way to fill the gaps in slow days. Warning: if you have not watched all the seasons yet, THERE MAY BE SPOILERS.

Today’s honoree: Betty Draper (January Jones). Last we saw her, the divorce had gone through and she was running off with her new sugar daddy. She’s always an entitled priss and a lousy mom, but we like her because she shoots pigeons and looks fantastic in Bardot eye makeup.
