This is a British ad for Walker’s Extra Crunchy chips — or crisps, oy, dat’s bettah, guvna — starring Lionel Richie singing a variation of “Say You Say Me.” Basically, he wants a guy to share his potato chips, so the guy throws Lionel Richie through a window. Not a great a lesson for our children, but let’s face it: Lionel had it coming. We still owe him for “The Simple Life.”
The next ad can be specifically for the cheddar and sour cream variant of Walker’s:
Hello! Is it cheese you’re looking for?
I can see it in your eyes
I can see it in your smile
You’re all I’ve ever wanted
And my mouth is open wide
’cause you know just how to taste
And I know just how to chew
And I want to tell you so much
I love you.
Naturally, the commercial should have a blind girl sculpting a bag of potato chips.

Al. Weird Al. It’s Marvin. Your cousin. Marvin Yankovic. You know that new sound you’re looking for? Well listen to this. *Holds receiver to Matt’s parody of Hello*
Too cheesy.
That’s nothing compared to how Lionel’s ex-wife used to treat him.
That guy should have thrown him into a Brick House.
Awww, yeah…
Lionel Richie doing adds for potato chips is great news for Nicole. They’re her favorite. In fact, she just had one for lunch.
Chips to us are what you guys call French Fries. I like chips, and crisps.
I do not like Gary Lineker, the jug-eared twat.
