With this preview to next week’s Halloween episode of “Community,” we officially enter the stage where I start getting a little too aggressive in my fandom of the show. Watch it! Watch it! WATCH OR I WILL CUT YOU!
In all honesty, I can’t comprehend why this show doesn’t have more of an audience (yes I can: NBC sucks). The scene where Senor Chang (Ken Jeong) walks up dressed as a female figure skater is terrific.
Chang: Guess who I am.
Britta: Michelle Kwan?
Chang: Wrong.
Jeff: Kristi Yamaguchi?
Chang: Wrong. Peggy Fleming. You’ve just been proven racist.
Lots of other great stuff in this video, from Abed and Troy’s Alien costumes to the Dean dressed as Lady Gaga to the promise of zombie movies getting spoofed. And seriously: I keep my KA-BAR fighting knife dangerously sharp. I’m not afraid to blame your death on my PTSD. The charges will get reduced to involuntary mans laughter. What? “Man slaughter”? Whoa, that sounds way worse.

This episode looks phenominal. Yesterdays was perhaps a little earnest for a network comedy aimed at 19-45 year olds. Excellent for what it was but not quite right.
Chang is the best character on this show.

Acts of violence carried out to help Community stay on the air should fall under whatever maritime law* that lets you kill people who board your vessel without invitation.
*I’m pretty sure this is a real thing but I was extraordinary hungover for pretty much every day during the semester i took business law.
My DVR didn’t record Community this week, for some reason. Please don’t cut me.
I wanna hear the full version of the rap was Troy was doing in the video near the end. Sounded funny.

Ken Jeong is now one of my favorite TV actors–there is no way I could imagine him not being a total asshole, but in this clip he seems completely normal, and even nice. I know it’s easy to “act” like a douchebag, but he makes it so totally convincing, that if I had met him in the street before seeing this clip, I would’ve spit in his taco.

My favorite character on the show is Annie’s Boobs.
Damn, the principal as Lady Gaga totally grossed me out…it’s like too close to the original. Zombie Alison Brie needs a hug, she looks tired and a little worn out…
Hmm… What should I watch;
A sitcom with an actual zombie outbreak and a guy dressed as Lady Gaga, which has been done to death, or a sitcom with the very original idea of having one of the characters’ sister visiting, causing crazy hilarity over the gang?
