I will freely admit that I enjoyed “Glee” when it first started, and even now that it no longer suits my tastes, I can appreciate that it has cultural cache and tackles some teenage/high school issues that other shows won’t touch.
That said, this video of Darren Criss singing “Teenage Dream” might be the least appealing thing I’ve ever seen on “Glee.” An all-male a capella choir dances and sings an unnecessarily auto-tuned Katy Perry song while two gay teenagers make eyes at each other. It’s almost a perfect storm of things I don’t want to watch. I didn’t watch all the way to the end of the video, but if Criss finished the song by bashing a puppy’s head in, it is successfully the last thing on television I would want to see.

Why didn’t they just cast this guy: [www.youtube.com]
Hmmm, you think this show is aimed at the gays?
I thought it was awesome.
Even my gay buddies sprayed eachother with Axe and played football catch after watching that.
They should have been roller blading while singing that.
I detect postage on this entry

I watched maybe half of the first season- and actually enjoyed it a little- mostly because they acknowledged that despite the talent of the kids in these groups the outside population generally views them as complete tools.
After they did the episode where the gay kid gets the football team to dance around before the snap without incurring 19 delay of game penalties I realized that the whole show is some douchey acapella dipshit’s wet dream of everyone finally understanding that the whole glee club / acapella scene really is cool!
The REAL “Laserface” would have lofted a ton of hate at this shit.
An entire choir of gays? Who could have seen that coming?
@Enrico – Then it would have to be a two-part episode to give it time to hit one of them next week.
What, no “hoo boy…” tag? Way to mail it in.
Gayer than 8 guys blowing 9 guys.
Glee still has its moments, but this was not one of them.
Honestly, the only things I consistently like anymore are Jane Lynch and Emma’s cute wardrobe.
Still not the gayest show on TV. That is and will continue to be CSI Miami.
The gayest thing on tv is a New England Patriots game.
No longer suits your tastes? So you’re saying you’ve tired of the taste of cock?
I actually liked this scene, though my better judgment is clouded by Chris Colfer’s unfailingly good acting (seeing him enjoy the performance made me enjoy seeing him enjoy the performance) and Darren Criss being DARREN CRISS (fanboy squeal). Seriously, both men deserve better roles on better shows. Thus I will defend this scene, if only to defend the two points above.
Agree with Neptuny. Darren Criss’s inherent awesomeness coupled with Chris Colfer’s amazing acting is far from “gay”. It’s pretty gay, but it’s definitely not “gay”.
All gay.
