Happy New Year, Charlie Brown (ABC) — I never make New Year’s resolutions. I have a standing policy of always trying to kick more ass. I can’t resolve to kick more ass when I’m already determined to kick more ass every day.
Wreck Chasers (TLC) — Series premiere. From the show’s website: “Philadelphia is the wild west of tow trucking and the only city in the United States that allows ‘wreck chasing’ — a multi-million dollar business in which tow truck drivers compete to claim wrecks and collect cash.” That’s great, but it’s still a show about tow truck drivers.
Bridgeport Education Holiday Bowl (ESPN) — Nebraska versus Washington. Huskers versus Huskies. Thick-necked, slow-witted Midwesterners versus slim, intelligent city dwellers (translation: Nebraska in a rout).
Food Feud (Food Network) — TV Guide description: “A butter cake bake-off takes place in St. Louis.” I think I got fatter just reading that sentence.
Late Night with Jimmy Fallon (NBC) — It’s a re-run, but Scarlett Johansson is the first guest, so… y’know…
I want more like this!
