Terriers (FX) — Season finale. Really, we can probably go ahead and call it “series finale.” The show has been an understated delight of the fall season, but from the beginning it was fighting uphill against a bad name, misleading promos, and a quieter tone than other FX shows (Tim Goodman wrote an excellent article about “Terriers” and not fitting the FX brand identity). So farewell, “Terriers.” Please accept these Photoshopped cats as a parting gift.
America’s Next Top Model (The CW) — Season finale. I don’t know why I ever mention CW shows. It’s not like teenage girls ever come here. No matter how hard I wish for it.
Top Chef All Stars (Bravo) — Season premiere. Not to be confused with “Top Chef Masters” where famous chefs compete, this will feature some of the best contestants from previous seasons. You can see the contestants here; I’m disappointed that there’s no Kevin Gillespie (fat bearded dude from Season 6). He was robbed! Also: Anthony Bourdain has been added as a judge this season. F yeah Tony Bourdain.
Grammys Nomination Concert (CBS) — What could possibly matter less than the Grammys? How about the Grammy nomination concert? Justin Bieber and Katy Perry will perform because their music is so brilliant and timeless.
Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew (Bravo) — Season premiere. Once again, the meaning of the word “celebrity” is stretched to its thinnest, although I suppose there are worse things to look at than Rachel Uchitel’s fake-boob cleavage.
Law & Order: Los Angeles (NBC) — Speaking of Uchitel, tonight’s “LOLA” tackles the Tiger Woods scandal, with a prime suspect in the episode being a married pro golfer with a secret. (That secret? Whores.)
