I know that I’m not breaking any new ground here, but entertainment reporters have to be some of the most useless people in the Western world. As you can see above, The Hollywood Reporter got a killer EXCLUSIVE scoop yesterday.
Lionsgate has chosen a release date for high-profile event pictureThe Hunger Games: March 23, 2012.
Seventeen minutes later, EW.com landed an equally EXCLUSIVE story:
Game on! Lionsgate has announced to EW that The Hunger Games, the highly anticipated adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ futuristic YA thriller about scrapper Katniss Everdeen and her fight to survive a brutal reality TV contest, will be released on March 23, 2012.
Now, I know that this particular story is about movies, not TV, but these jackasses do this every day regardless of the product. “Hey world! A movie adaptation of a book you haven’t heard about will be in theaters in a MERE 14 MONTHS!!! Motherf*cking EXCLUSIVE, bitch!” I can’t stand it. The Hollywood media is like the Special Olympics if the retards talked trash.

Entertainment Weekly explained on their Tumblr that they got the consumer exclusive while THR got the trades exclusive.
Here’s an exclusive:
I will masturbate when I get home from work tonight.
like the Special Olympics if the retards talked trash.
So, um, they don’t. What’s next, you’re going to try and tell me that we’re not supposed to heckle the Special Olympians from other states?
EXCLUSIVE! Pallazzo’s wanking for the weekend
Entertainment Weekly explained on their Tumblr that they got the consumer exclusive while THR got the trades exclusive.
That’s idiocy explaining idiocy. It’s the same information, and therefore NOT EXCLUSIVE.
EXCLUSIVE! Everybody’s wanking for the weekend.
Okay, maybe that’s based more on rumor and a little on statistical projection.
TOLDJA!
I recognize that I’m totally missing the point here, but Hunger Games is a pretty incredible book. So…that’s something.
AND THE GIRL FROM TRUE GRIT HAS BEEN CAST AS KATNISS!!!!111!!
[/checkplease]
I’m wanking in Memphis. But do I really feel the way I feel?
But Lionsgate addressed them specifically in the press release email blast!
