Last night, at the end of “Parks and Recreation,” NBC ran a promo for network’s website that encouraged viewers to check out Andy and April’s wedding registry. The problem is, even though Andy and April have had the “will they or won’t they?” buzz since last season, they’re not even dating yet. (On the NBC website, there’s only a
Now, if you’re me, you think to yourself, “Huh, that’s weird,” then you finish your bourbon and forget it happened. If you’re an obsessively annoying TV viewer you take to the Internet and throw around the S-word. Geekosystem ran its theories for the blunder under the headline “NBA Promo for Parks and Recreation Accidentally Releases HUGE Spoiler?” and fans are already up in arms about having the April-Andy wedding ruined.
On behalf of sane and reasonable people everywhere, I’m going to ask everyone to CALM THE F*CK DOWN. I’ll bet the folder containing all my corgi photos that April and Andy don’t get married this season. It’s either an idiotic mistake (entirely possible because it’s NBC) or a clever way to generate buzz among the reactionary Internet crowd (also possible because it’s “Parks and Rec”). Take a puff of your inhaler and go back to petting your cats; the PTA is not disbanding.
UPDATE: Per showrunner Michael Schur, it was supposed to be a promo for Ron and Tammy’s registry. NBC messed it up somehow. Man, it sure is easy to be right when you don’t flip out over trivial crap.

Per NBC, it was a mistake. It was supposed to say Ron and Tammy.
I just assumed it was a running joke from those webisode things NBC tries to get everyone to watch for all it’s shows and the commercial always runs before the episode cap and that everyone ignores
While we’re on the subject, how DARE they destroy the most glorious mustache in all of television? That thing is sacred to some religions.
So does this mean we add cornrows to the acceptable haircut styles from the Ron Swanson Pyramid of Greatness?
Are you a secret alcoholic?
Will they or won’t they? Better question: Who cares?
Maybe the hottest thing ever shown on t.v. from last nights episode.

They better not get married. They’re both making minimum wage.
We all know that NBC is filled with competent people, who run NBC like a well oiled machine made to grind out hit show after hit show, so when they make ONE mistake it kind of startles us.
It was pretty obvious that it was just a dumb mistake.
But April and Andy are ridiculously cute together.
Does anyone else feel shame for liking calzones today?
Its a fucking comedy tv show. If anyone cares that much they need to go back to watching their “stories” on daytime TV.
After they aired this spoiler President Mubarak stepped down because he was so upset.
NBC: Where Web Integration is Even Hard
“Oh look, you shaved part of your mustache.”
“No, it rubbed off. From friction.”
awesome.
NBC is full of Jerry’s. Idiots.
Not a mistake, NBC is full of Jerry’s and it’s evidenced by the new issue of Entertainment Weekly where they have an article on parks and rec and in the “coming soon” section it says: “April and Andy throw a fancy dinner party- and serve only Bagel Bites”.. Why would they need to throw a fancy dinner party, unless it was in fact for their wedding or engagement? =(
The mistake was obviously in them airing the wrong promo, not in them getting both the names and video clips wrong in the promo. They are just trying to come up with an excuse and cover their tracks now to limit the damage done to the shows story by this screw up, and I think we will all know that to be true by the end of the season. They didn’t even have a Ron and Tammy registry thing up on the website until well after the fact, and what they put up there is obviously just an generic, quickly thrown together thing. I do agree that it isn’t that big of a deal, since I watch Parks and Recreation for it’s humor, and not so much the soap opera aspects, but it was still a pretty big screw up on their part because it ruins several big plotlines.
Jerry mentions in the show that he got the tumblers off of
First of all, the amount of hair on Nick Offerman’s head is insane…those braids were great. Also, that promo totally got my hopes up. I hate the will they/won’t they crap – they obviously will…so do it now! It’s similar to the Pam and Jim dynamic. They got together a while ago on The Office and I still like their scenes.
AWWWWW SNAP! Feel free to email me those Corgi photos.
lol, I love how much **** he was talking. Never mind that he was wrong, why he got such an air of superiority over something so trivial is what really makes it funny. You can send those corgi photos anytime, whatever the hell they are.
