Last month, Kiefer Sutherland confirmed that the “24″ movie will be released in theaters in 2012. And now Hollywood super-producer Brian Grazer (inset) has announced that he’s on board to produce the film.
“Got off the phone Keifer yesterday and we are very excited about producing the 24 movie for next year,” he tweeted.
Grazer’s involvement makes sense since Imagine Entertainment, the company he co-owns with Ron Howard, produced the long running action drama for Fox. [Inside TV]
So I guess quoting tweets has become so commonplace that media outlets no longer use sic to point out glaring word omissions and typos, huh? Oh well, I guess I should get off the good grammar ship before it syncs to the bottom of the ocean. From here on out, I’ll be unphased by my misuse of homophones.
ANYWAY, the “24″ movie. Always nice to see a powerful guy like Brian Glazer involved. That guy looks like such a straight shooter. So calm and collected. I bet he’s never even seen cocaine.

I don’t want to watch a 24 hour long movie.
Just to confirm: is the typo in the headline of this post — which is complaining about typos — supposed to be ironic?
Instead of saving the world (again) Jack will come down with a 24 hour flu, and the movie will consist of him sitting on the toilet from opening credits to end credits.
Nope, that was just a lack of caffeination on my part.
Boyd Crowder thinks Brian Grazer’s hair is unruly.
The 24 movie is one idea I’ve never understood. I loved 24 but a big part of it was the hourly episodes in roughly “real time”. There were so many twists and turns that by the time you got to episode 15 you might not even remember who the “bad guy” was in episode 3 because it changed 4 times since then. How are they going to do this in 2 hours? The whole thing is just going to feel rushed and afterwards I think people will be saying, “That would have been way better if they would have just slowed down and made it into a normal TV season.”
I’ll still go and see it on opening weekend because I’m an idiot and I love 24 but I fail to see how taking something from roughly 17 hours of content (per season) and condensing it into 2 hours is going to be a good thing.
“homophones,” Tee hee.
Will Elisha get nekkid? Please? It’s about that time with regards to her career arc, right? RIGHT?
Is Brian Grazer Boyd Crowder?
