Essential Troy/’Community’ Mash-Ups

All my friends are super-gay for Donald Glover and his array of talents. “I love his stand-up!” “His Childish Gambino show was awesome!” “He baked me a cake!” But for me, Glover’s performance as Troy Barnes on “Community” is enough. Glover gives Troy a scene-stealing childish wonder that’s on display in the video above, an excellent mash-up of Troy scenes set to “Little Secrets” by Passion Pit. It makes me want to dance and be his friend.

Below is another Glover supercut: a collection of Troy-crying scenes. It’s pretty good, but since it was uploaded back in November, it unfortunately doesn’t have “Set phasers to… love me.” Still, it’s worth it for the dead-legged crawl after he says, “THE SOUL TRAIN AWARDS WERE TONIGHT!”

    I might just be riding the high from his concert in Philly last night but the combo standup/rap concert IAMDONALD show is ridiculous. With video cameos from that dude in LCD soundsystem and Reggie Watts.
