Great news for all the tan sluts and gorilla juiceheads out there: MTV has not only set a premiere date for the Florence-set fourth season of “Jersey Shore” (August 4th), it has also greenlit the inevitable 5th season, which will be filmed this summer in Seaside Heights. For those not aware of “Jersey Shore” tradition, the cast films two seasons a year: summers in New Jersey and winters in different warm locales. The official history:
Season 1: Seaside Heights, New Jersey
Season 2: Miami
Season 3: Seaside Heights, New Jersey
Season 4: Florence, Italy
Season 5: Seaside Heights, New Jersey
Season 6: Aboard a rocket fired into the sun*

Anyway, I plan to continue my tradition of enjoying three episodes before getting tired of watching Sammi and Ronnie helplessly destroy each other’s fragile psyches. Removing “Jersey Shore” from my DVR is becoming a semiannual tradition.

Season 6 should take place in the windy city. JWoww can get caught up in the controversy surrounding Alderman Gibbons, and I can get another season of The Chicago Code.
