Despite being 60 years old, a Scientologist, and completely deluded, Kirstie Alley is still adored by America. Therefore, ABC is in the final stages of ordering a multi-camera sitcom pilot called “The Manzanis,” with Alley attached to star.
The sitcom is described as a new take on Roseanne, and stars Alley as a very opinionated wife/mother who, along with her family, the Manzanis, moves to repressed country-club town. [Deadline]
I’ve got no problem with this. I don’t have a problem with Alley being on TV, I have a problem with her staying on “Dancing with the Stars” while Kendra Wilkinson gets eliminated. Alley’s a good actress, so I’m cool with her working. I mean, everyone’s gotta eat, right? Especially Kirstie Alley. They’re gonna have to pay her in Japanese cities.

No matter how hard I try, all I see when I read that title is “Kirstie Alley Orders BLT.”
Ah… that was a good laugh.
Wait, America is 60 years old? I am storming back to my elementary school this instant!
If Khloe Kardashian made a guest spot on this show, and the two of them fought, would it resemble that old video game ‘Rampage’?
I hope she plays a fat lady on the show.
Dammit, Mailman, nice catch. Edited to get rid of my misplaced modifier.
Shouldn’t it be the Manzani’s or the Manzanis’?
I am awful when it comes to grammar and punctuation so maybe I’m wrong, but that really bothered me.
Leave the man’s grammar and/or syntax alone! He is just a working class blogger trying to make time to scour the ‘net for corgi pictures!
“Do you take drugs, Danny?”
Shouldn’t it be the Manzani’s or the Manzanis’?
Nope. Never use an apostrophe to indicate a plural.
“Nope. Never use an apostrophe to indicate a plural.”
Except when writing lines for German goat porn, jusayin.
“Every day.”
She really is America’s sweetfart.
I’d say there’s a massive frickin’ problem calling something similar to “Roseanne” that takes place in a “country club town”. Roseanne was about people who had jobs and worked for a living. That’s some unholy bullshit right there.
