“Boardwalk Empire” is highly acclaimed and currently HBO’s most-watched series, so you don’t have to be a rocket surgeon to understand why HBO renewed it for a third season.
Sunday’s most recent episode delivered 2.9 million viewers and a 1.2 rating in the adult demo. (Though as with most HBO shows, each episode tends to rack up higher numbers, thanks to repeats and On Demand viewing. Boardwalk has traditionally averaged around 10 million viewers). [EW]
I’m currently two episodes behind on my “Boardwalk Empire” viewing thanks to travel and NFL football and “Breaking Bad,” and that’s a damn shame because I like everything about this show. There’s good acting, good writing, pissed-off veterans, violence, booze, and tittays. The show has so much of what I love on-screen that I keep expecting Steve Buscemi to buy a corgi farm.

Don’t forget it totally beats all other shows on their quota of half-face awesome snipers.
I can has Paz?
I’m just glad to see Mr. Drexler can still get work.
“The show has so much of what I love on-screen that I keep expecting Steve Buscemi to buy a corgi farm” – within the last two episodes Buscemi totes buys a Corgi farm.
This show is consistently fucking awesome, the casting is fantastic. Paz De La Huerta is scary good.
@Dachshund – Yes, scarily bad.
Wait, Corgi farm? Is that a real thing?
@thecursor
It is if you BELIEVE enough.
Not sure how to feel about the latest episode with Nude and Pregnant Paz. It brings up feelings of revulsion….tingly feelings of revulsion.
