“Justified” has cast two veteran character actors as the new villains for Season 3: Neal McDonough (“Band of Brothers,” Captain America) and Mykelti Williamson (Con Air, “24,” and, of course, Bubba in Forrest Gump). Both actors worked with “Justified” showrunner Graham Yost on the acclaimed but short-lived “Boomtown.”
McDonough will recur as Quarles, a Detroit mobster in a sharp suit who comes to Kentucky with visions of becoming a crimelord. Williamson will play Limehouse, a man who lives in a small black town in Harlan County and who will do whatever it takes, legal or otherwise, to protect his holler.
We’ll meet both characters early in season 3, which premieres in January. The show began production on the first of 13 new episodes Monday. [EW]
So wait, the criminal from Detroit is the white guy, and the guy living in the Kentucky backwoods is the black dude? Did I read that right? I guess I’ll go with it as long as I get to see Timothy Olyphant shirtless in the first episode. I mean Natalie Zea. I’m perfectly straight. Olyphant’s rugged handsomeness and sly charm have no effect on me.

Excellent, not too mention “Limehouse” is a funny name.
Wasn’t McDonough also the villian on…..(wait for it)
TERRIERS?
Black guys on Terra Nova (well…girls), Sons of A, and now Justified……??
…..a world turned upside down….
Oh dear. Olyphant AND McDonough. So. Much. Handsomeness.
Raylan Givens vs. the sh*tty version of M. Bison? I’m already sold!
That headline picture of McDonough…it feels like his eyes are following me.
Did Dicky get thrown in jail? I didn’t think he did, so he is still on the loose, not to mention the awesomeness of Boyd Crowder. Anyways, between those 2 and the shadow of Mags, thems some big shoes to step in.
Thing is, Neal McDonough is well known for being an asshole on sets. He refuses to do anything that even hints at being sex related.
So, I want to be on the set when Natalie Zea walks by in a shirt with no bra on (as she is prone to doing) and see McDonough’s reaction.
@Smegga – your comment makes me sad. I really wanted McDonough to follow the show’s trend and take his shirt off a lot.
Is Limehouse going to be British?
