It’s been a rough 24 hours. The last best hope for an NBA season fell apart. “Community” got pulled from NBC’s midseason schedule. The NYPD prevented journalists from accessing its Gestapo-like raid on Occupy Wall Street. And then we watched the Jerry Sandusky interview, and suddenly it feels like the entire world is filled with evil and stupidity and greed and more evil.
And I can’t argue against that. The good, the intelligent, the charitable, the kind, the reasonable: these are the people who are ground beneath the boot heel of history. Fodder for a machine that turns humanity into capital. It only gets worse from here.
So f*ck it all, here’s the cutest kitten I’ve ever seen. Let’s spend some happy moments with it while the world ends around us.

Raids, Sandusky, and Community being cancelled we can agree are all bad.
No NBA? who cares. We still have hockey
We still have hockey? Tim, I’m looking for things to cheer me up, not make me more apathetic.
At least we have the new “Twilight” movie to look forward to. Who’s with me?
Every time you compare the NYPD to the Gestapo, you’re weakening your argument. Last time I checked, none of the Occupiers were crammed into trains and sent to the gas chambers. The media may not have been allowed (I haven’t read that anywhere but by supporters of the Occupiers), but the Occupiers themselves showed live streaming video of the “raid”. I watched it for about 20 minutes and all I saw were the NYPD with bullhorns trying to clear the area while the Occupiers shouted chants, curses, and refused to leave so the city could pay to bring in a cleaning crew to clean up the mess left behind by the Occupiers. Yeah, sounds just like the Third Reich to me.
OH MY GOD. SO CUTE.
I want nothing more than to cuddle that kitten.
Is it just me, or does that kitten closely resemble a corgi? A feline corgi?
Yeah, not to mention that half of my fantasy football team got injured this weekend. Nothing like a little pussy to cheer you up. Amiright?
Ah, this soothes my nerves after having to entice my cat back from the neighbors roof with the false promise of a can of Fancy Feast.
@Matt, it’s the most competitive league, there is constant action, and enough physicality to win over football fans. I suggest trying it out. It’s way more entertaining than the rigged sports entertainment called the NBA

You want to fucking split hairs? Fine, split away, asshole. Perhaps it was more like Sturmabteilung than the Gestapo.
A video stream is going to happen in the 21st century. Way to go, Johnny Internet. But in America, we also have this thing called the freedom of the press, and the denial of that by police is closer to Nazism than the Bill of Rights. Fuck you.
The media may not have been allowed (I haven’t read that anywhere but by supporters of the Occupiers)
Really? Because I read it from journalists who were tweeting it from the ground.

But I guess those journalists were probably lying, right? Anything to prove your fucking point.
Damn websense….could have used the pick-me-up…
That cat is cute. Almost TOO cute. This is assuredly a trap.
I agree with essequemodeia. This kitten has short legs like a Corgi. I call it Corgi cat
I feel for ya, numbersix. My office changed out websense in favor of another service last month. Now I get a whole new selection of cool things I can’t see.
Though in this case I could see the kitten. And I’ll be damned if he isn’t anime! It’s some kind of Japanese plot.
Thank you. It hadn’t hit me exactly how crappy things were all at once, but it’s all pretty bad.
This package of ELFudge cookies knows that now too.
The cat video has been removed from youtube. When it rains in pours.
Ha Ha. Thank goodness for Youtube download extensions.
Besides, this is the Internet. It’s not gone forever.

Martin, you’re too good to us.
No, I’m usually the worst. In this case, though, I couldn’t bear the idea of people not seeing it.
Here’s another youtube version: [www.youtube.com]
Thanks Martin
