It’s a good day if you love NBC’s “Community.” No. The show doesn’t yet have a return date, but while you’re waiting for it to come back, you can appreciate Greendale’s finest students in all their X-Men glory with illustrator Aviv Or’s brilliant “Community X” art work above (check his site for the individual character posters).
Meanwhile, there’s also a “Life”-style board game rife with “Community” allusions, Annie’s Boobs, and the ability to play pool with naked Jeff. All you need is your own study group, a die, and the willingness to cut out your own characters (game pieces can also be subbed in for Monopoly pieces). You can see the entire board, after the jump, or head directly over to USDirect and download the game yourself or see a larger version. It’s worth it.

Can’t wait for one of these to be made about Whitney or, Are You There Chelsea.
/when is this coming back again?
There should be a warning label on the board game advising people to not let Troy get the pizza.
Okay, Annie as Shadowcat and Annie’s Boobs as Lockheed is pretty genius, but nothing tops Dean White Queen.
The hormone crazy teenager in me wishes she was dressed as Rogue, but the adult comic book nerd realizes that Shadowcat is more appropriate for her character.
And now I’ll think of Annie every time I listen to Weezer’s “In the Garage.”
Thanks, Aviv Or!
Just try NOT to think about Nightcrawler Chang.
Yes, but as a lifelong comic book fan myself, I’m disappointed by the artist’s attempts to be realistic? Where is the ridiculous mid 90s Giant breasts/small waists? Or the Jim lee “abs that have abs?”
@thecursor I think it’s offset by the fact that Magneto is always ripped in the comics. As a person who get around by using his powers, he should be fat as hell (ala Pierceneto pictured above).
Annie’s breasteses (not to be confused with Annie’s Boobs) need to be bigger. And her face is jacked. But kudos for getting Britta right.
Right after Alex Ross released his 30 Rock as League of Extraordinary Gentlemen painting I wished he would do Community as X-Men.
Long-time X-fan (i almost have every Claremont-era issue) here
I am squeeling with delight
As someone on Or’s page noticed, Chang has his Chang-baby tail cut off. That’s a brilliant detail I hadn’t noticed. I hope the Dean as Emma Frost doesn’t awaken anything in me… Just kidding, I just hope it doesn’t give me nightmares.
