Triumph Crashes the Golden Collars

Last week, Hollywood got together for the first ever Golden Collar Awards, an event created to honor dogs who play notable roles in film and television. Unfortunately (for them), they choose not to recognize Triumph the Insult Comic Dog, so the people at “Conan” sent him to crash the red carpet. And crash he did. The whole thing is great, but the end is truly inspired. I won’t ruin it for you, but HOO BOY, things get a little dark.

Wow, you know what I just realized? Between this post and the Corgi Friday one about Matt at the Westminster Dog Show, it’s turning into a real Dog Day Afternoon here at Warming Glow. Get it? [nudges with elbow] I guess you could say things have really gone to the dogs today, huh? [raises eyebrows] Our wholehearted affection for stuff like this is kinda like puppy love, isn’t it? Posts like this sure provide a nice distraction from the ***dog eat dog*** world out there, eh? I mean, if you think we’re fans of these kinds of videos, you’d really be ***BARKING*** up the right tree.
