Justified (FX) – We’re officially at the point of the season where things are starting to get SERIOUS. We’re playing for keeps now, kiddies. Recap and discussion post tomorrow, so take notes.
Cougar Town (ABC) – I was one of those guys who was all “‘COUGAR TOWN’? Sounds dumb. I have officially made my mind up about this” when the show first came out, but now I realize that it’s really good. So, what I’m saying is, don’t listen to old me. Listen to new me. He’s smart. (RELATED: Showrunner Bill Lawrence was on Marc Maron’s podcast, and it was great.)
Glee/New Girl/Raising Hope (FOX) – Winter finale of “Glee.” Some kids have spunk and moxie and overcome adversity by singing pop hits. One or more of them kiss each other or get pregnant. There you go.
The River (ABC) – I haven’t done the Tuesday night listings for the past two weeks, and I already forgot this show existed. That doesn’t reflect too well on me, but it REALLY doesn’t reflect well on “The River.”
Southland (TNT) – I know this show is good and I should be watching it, but there just aren’t enough hours in the week says the same guy who watched a three-hour marathon of “Man v. Food” the other day.
Parenthood (NBC) – Holy crap there’s a lot of good TV on Tuesdays nights. Let’s move some of this to Mondays.
LATE NIGHT LISTINGS: Eric Stonestreet and KATE UPTON REPEAT KATE UPTON on Kimmel; Alec Baldwin on Letterman; Bill Maher on Ferguson; Bill O’Reilly and Rob Riggle on Leno; Tyler Perry and David Wain on Fallon; and Amanda Seyfried on Conan

Watched three hours of Southland yesterday that I had DVR’d over the last few weeks. As cop shows go, it’s damn good. It leans toward being a little too “preachy” sometimes, but overall 4 out of 5 stars.
Danger….
…I may try watching CougarTown…..on your say-so…..but last year I watched it and Outsourced each week……and they were BOTH major suck…
So, “The River” is kinda like the “emergency make the car smell funny lever”?
DING DING DING
Well at least it wasn’t Diners, Drive-ins, and Douchebags.
I believe the case of Man v. Food is pending before the supreme court. The lower court upheld man’s right to dine, but the justices are pretty cuisine friendly. F’n liberals.
I have been watching the River. It’s been….well it doesn’t completely suck but it’s not exactly blasting my face off.
I LIKE having my face blasted off, Gentlemen.
New Danger is the shit, yo. He’s right about Cougar Town. And he shares his name with a good Mos Def album; bonus.
I still haven’t checked out Raising Hope, Parenthood, or Southland. I suppose I should make time for them one of these days.
The Raising Hope’s I’ve seen have been good and I never miss a Southland (Ryan Atwood til I die). Never seen Parenthood.
Too many worthwhile shows come on Tuesday night at 10pm. Parenthood, Justified, Southland, White Collar, and yes, even Chopped.
There is only so much I can take… I don’t care which shows are good… if their time slot is 10pm… Justified wins. And f-ck the encore, I can’t wait one hour. They should spread good programming around, that’s what they should do.
I lobby that Key & Peele officially be added to this list henceforth. It is positively and rambunctiously hilarious on top of the fact that the title features an ampersand. Therefore, it must be recommended to the uproxxosphere.
POP POP!
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>SPOILER ALERT, SPOILER ALERT<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
This Justified episode was pretty good folks, pretty damn good. There, I said it.
So I missed Justified, and there’s NO FUCKING RE-RUNS ON FX…I was late to the party and now can’t catch up until the party’s over.
This makes me glad for piracy.
