Krysten Ritter has a new show arriving on ABC in a few weeks, set to take over for "Happy Endings" after "Modern Family" on Wednesdays at 9:30, beginning April 11th. The sitcom is called "Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23." If you're interested, the pilot episode is available on Hulu. I watched it last night, and while it doesn't hold a candle to "Happy Endings," it was actually pretty funny, thanks mostly to James Van Der Beek, who plays himself, complete with all the "Dawson's Creek" callbacks you could hope for (plus a scene in which he beds a woman pulling an Ali Larter in Varsity Blues. Whip-cream lingerie, y'all. I DO WANT YORE LIFE).
ABC is doing a solid job of promoting the show, but there's no better promotion than the lead actress in lingerie. As part of Esquire's Me in My Place photo series, Ritter shows off her apartment. Bonus: She shows it off while wearing her underwear. Hit the slideshow for all the goods, by which I mean her awesome countertops.

Her floors are the only think that are now made of hardwood. *rimshot*
She’s gorgeous. Probably still won’t watch her show though.
best thing Esquire has ever done
This is why telescopes are some important in urban areas where you can’t see stars.
well looks like I’ll be watching this show now
Watched the pilot on Hulu earlier it was funny. No laugh track which is 100% good. I also liked that they went pretty crude for ABC standards which I found surprising.
Anyone with a foot fetish is going to hate picture #5.
hell yea i suck toes!
#5′s the best one. Those crazy foot fetishists.
I’ll DVR it…..and only fast-forward the commercials rather than “skip” if she goes full-frontal
Ritter? 8 simple inches for nailing my daughter?
…centimeters.

Observation:
- It’s the “Me in my place” series.
- 5 of the 6 shots were her in the kitchen, scantily clad.
- The only other shot was her in the bedroom, scantily clad.
Someone get this chick some sandwich fix’ns!
Minority opinion: This chick does nothing for me. She looks like a 15yr old male cross-country runner in a Bettie Page wig.
I like skinny girls, but she’s way thin for me. I also watched it on Hulu last night. I thought it was ok. Agree that the Beek was the highlight of the show. I thought Riter was the weakest of the three stars.
It’s a trap!
She’s not too thin; she looks pretty healthy, in fact. She’s just got a long torso. Which, for what it’s worth, I like very much.
I would do terrible, terrible things to this woman. Tits on the small side, but that’s just being picky.
Would bang.
/if she cleans her kitchen counter up anyway.
She needs to mix in a cheeseburger or two…
Is that granite?
Solid. But the Cranston commercial was better.
just watched it. Happy Endings is far superior, but I guess it’s not a direct competition.
the blonde chick plays her role pretty well. She’s not drop-dead gorgeous either so it’s easy to buy her character as a girl from a small town. liz lapira’s character needs more development obviously. I like the Vanderbeek character, I hope it doesn’t spin out of control.
but still, is this part of the whole post bridesmaids era where it’s cool for grown women to behave like frat-boys? shouldn’t we expect more from not just women but men too? or maybe it’s the painkillers talking
SIGH
Damn it, I was really hoping no one would like this show. It looks like one of those shows where we are told to like the main character when she is actually a terrible person and we would detest her in real life.
And the title bugs me, it seems like they are trying to be edgy just for the sake of being edgy. The could have just called it the Girl in 23. Kind of like “Bleep” my dad says and GCB. Stupid.
She even looks good choking to death on her own sick. Well as good as one can, I imagine.
I don’t know about trusting the B—- , but someone really needs to get her a sammich.
