On April 22, Fox Mulder and Dana Scully will return to Fox. Not in another crappy “X-Files” movie (seriously, what the hell was that, I Want to Believe?), but for the network’s 25th anniversary special. According to Vulture:
Vulture hears that silver anniversary special producer Don Mischer has booked “The X-Files” stars David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson, along with creator Chris Carter… Mischer has also put together a “Married…with Children” reunion featuring all four core cast members: Ed O’Neill, Katey Sagal, Christina Applegate, and David Faustino. We also hear the network is even planning on honoring some of its shows that didn’t last that long, with “The Tick” star Patrick Warburton slated to get some airtime. (Via)
It must be awkward when David Faustino’s around. Ed O’Neill has “Modern Family,” Katey Sagal is on “Sons of Anarchy” and “Futurama,” and Christina Applegate is the co-star of “Up All Night.” Faustino has the following Wikipedia fact: “Faustino owns a night club in Los Angeles named Balistyx, which is the same name as his rap album.” Other former-Fox stars at the reunion include Shannen Doherty, Jason Priestly, Gabrielle Carteris, and Ian Ziering from “Beverly Hills 90210”, and Calista Flockhart from “Ally McBeal,” with more to be announced.
What shows have been left out of the festivities? Where’s the love for “The Sinbad Show” and “World’s Wildest Police Videos”? If they don’t get at least one cast member from “M.A.N.T.I.S.” to make an appearance, there’s no point in even having a special. (But seriously, “Firefly” reunion or GTFO, Fox.)

Hopefully some of the criminals from America’s Most Wanted make an appearance. Their crime spree’s filled a lot of air time for Fox.
I’m just surprised David Faustino was available… or still alive.
But is Mulder’s red Speedo coming back, too?
I don’t care how crappy X-Files could be. I still love it like Mulder loves porn. Which is a lot.
I’m hoping for Warren the Ape from “Greg The Bunny” makes an appearance.
I want a Herman’s Head reunion and I want it now. They’ve already got Yeardley Smith and Hank Azaria. C’mon, Fox. Pull the trigger.
And William Ragsdale showed up on Justified, which is on FX, which is in the Fox family, so he should be a lock too.
I’d also like to point out that William Ragsdale is not very well served by his wikipedia article, which doesn’t even contain a filmography. I’d fix it, but I’ve got to go…stalk…Lenny and Carl.
Oh, and The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr. should also be represented (RIP Julius Carry).
WHAT no Marcy and Jefferson for the MArried with Children reunion? For shame!
And what about Seven?
Herman’s Head and Parker Lewis Can’t Lose better get some love.
Faustino did some webshort with Corin Nemec (aka Parker Lewis) called Star-ving, which I kind of liked before I forgot about it. Don’t know if they even made any more.
As long as they go in and out of commercial breaks with the Fly Girls, I’m good.
Were they able to get the cast of “Oops”?
Since Herman’s Head – the second best show of my childhood behind Dream On, because BOOBS – was mentioned, how about some love for Get a Life?
I thought I was the only one that remembered “Get a Life” with Chris Elliot.
My father in law just bought the “Get a Life” series on DVD. He’s in his 60′s…so that was out of left field.
Anytime I hear “Stand” I’m taken back. Also, a daughter like Abby Elliot keeps Chris’ work relevant.
Get a Life is great, which isn’t a surprise considering the writers behind it: Charlie Kaufman, Bob Odenkirk, and David Mirkin, who was also the showrunner for the two best Simpsons seasons.
I started watching it last week, actually. Chris is great.
Is Gabrielle Carteris like 70 now? And can Shannen Doherty get out of her hectic schedule of going back to school?
But she can go to school anywhere Burnsy, that’s the beauty of pursuing an online degree!
No one from The Simpsons or In Living Color? Are they all too rich to show up for something like this?
Speaking of obscure Fox shows, anyone else remember “The Winner” with Rob Corddry?
“Ned & Stacey” and “Andy Richter Controls the Universe” or GTFO.
Time to get the cast of “Down & Out In Beverly Hills – The TV Series” together, too.
Ah, a chance to name my favorite deceased, barely remembered shows from FOX!
Um…
Strange Luck was kinda cool.
Brimstone. That devil sure was funny and mean.
Millennium. Okay, people probably remember that one, I’ll try to be more obscure.
Harsh Realm! Hey, at least I didn’t say VR5 (man did that blow).
Anyone mention Space: Above and Beyond yet? I didn’t like it, but I thought I’d bring it up since many people liked it and it died a typically FOX death.
Is Joey Bologna going to be too busy to be the representative of Top of the Heap?
Bernie Mac Show
/Wait, what’s that
//Ok, Titus then
No Women in Prison, no interest
This is the theme to Gary’s show, the theme to Gary’s show. Gary called me up and asked if I would write his theme song. There’s really nothing to it, how do you like it so far? This is the theme to Gary Shandling’s show
Also:
Herman’s Head
Chris Elliot’s show thingy
Arrested Development
In Living Color
and maybe some people from that Simpsons show from the early 90s
Martin Lawrence ought to be available.
Just in time to capitalize on that “Gillian Anderson is bisexual” story! Just have her make out with Katey Sagal for no reason. That’s good television.
Also, that Faustino burn made me snarf, yo!
Most will arrive in limos, Gabrielle Carteris will be taking the Seniorville Trolley.
