Adam Reed's "Archer" is obviously heavily influenced by James Bond movies. Sterling Archer is a mixture of James Bond, Inspector Clouseau, and maybe a dash of Gob Bluth. I love Bond films (and I'm stoked about a blond Javier Bardem starring as the villain in Bond 23), but while James Bond has a certain suave charm, how much more entertaining would that character be if he delivered Sterling Archer's lines? I mean, would it kill James Bond to have a sense of humor or hold his liquor a little less well?
This is the James Bond I'd love to see on the big screen: One written by Adam Reed. It'd look a little something like this.

I can tell you what if … Sploosh.
“I love Bond films”
Every man should.

That Dr. No camel toe. No wonder my dad watched that movie so often
What? No Timothy Dalton?
Take that turtleneck off. We look gay.
Well I am gay.

Then why are you wearing that turtleneck??
I fixed the lack of a Dalton quote… [twitpic.com]
+ all the money in Kreiger’s flex account.
Is it date of hire or calendar year?
George Lazenby? On Her Majesty’s Secret Service? Anyone?
#3 makes me cry. A rug wearing Connery with that line just hurts so much.
