Survivor: One World (CBS) — Tonight’s episode will feature an “unforgivable betrayal,” which is marketing speak for: “All of our contestants suck really hard this season, so please, please watch.” Oh, alright.
Happy Endings (ABC) — I don’t want to alarm any of you, but the only new episode on ABC’s Wednesday night lineup is “Happy Endings.” On the one hand, that’s great. It’s the only one I love. On the other, why is ABC burning off “Happy Endings” episodes at a faster pace than the rest of their lineup? Are they planning on plugging something new into that timeslot later in the spring? Why would they want to test it without a “Modern Family” lead-in? Don’t you touch “Happy Endings,” ABC. Have you seen the shrine the Internet has built to “Community.” You don’t want that on your hands.
Psych (USA) — “Psych” is my very favorite non-appointment TV show. If I have time, sure. If not, no biggie. The show will be on forever, and Gus and Shawn will exchange the same banter, and it will always be kind of entertaining. Tonight’s the type of night I might watch — it’s Ghostbuster-themed. Anyone have any favorite “Psych” episodes? Mine was the “Twin Peaks”-themed eps, and the blaxploitation homage.
America’s Top Model: British Invasion (CW) — On tonight’s episode, the models will dress as toddlers while posing with Kris Jenner and her daughters Kendall and Kylie. This is not a joke. Apparently, they wanted to combine three of the worst thing on television into one episode: “Toddlers and Tiaras,” the Kardashians, and modeling competition.
Top Chef Reunion (Bravo) — I’m going to watch it because I’m a completest, but I’m not going to like it because Andy Cohen will be hosting. Andy Cohen is seriously the most annoying man on television. If I had my way, there would be a reality program that pitted Andy Cohen and Guy Fieri in a weekly cage match, and it would continue until someone died. The winner would then be mauled by a bear.
LATE NIGHT LISTINGS: “The Daily Show,” “The Colbert Report,” and Ferguson are the only late nighters not in reruns this week. They have Cecile Richards, Willem Dafoe, and Susan Sarandon on, respectively.

for reals, best not cancel happy endings, abc. it’s the only time i watch your network.
I just got used to Happy Endings being awesome…it can’t go so soon!
Also Psych is probably the best USA show. Not too serious, not crazy involved, still entertaining and no damn ongoing plot device to dangle in front of you.
My biggest issue with Psych is that Shawn is an insufferable prick. Gus can stay.
Yes, but they’ve added some great side characters. I love Woody the coroner and Desperaux.
Plus, as DBNA mentions above, Maggie Lawson!
Psych can be too cute for it’s own good sometimes, but it’s an enjoyable show. Also, it made fun of The Mentalist constantly after that show basically stole Psych’s premise and became the biggest show in the country.
Plus, Maggie Lawson.
They better not get rid of Happy Endings. Elisha Cuthbert is so cute and funny and I just want to hug her and squeeze her and then, also, do unspeakable things to her.
Eliza Coupe’s butt.
As you were, friends.
Taco: It’s amazing how she pulls off adorable and painfully-urgent-boner-inducing at the same time.
/got creepier than I intended
//stands by point anyway
The Survivor Contestants this year ARE all horrible. So Boring.
Isn’t the point of Survivor to hate on stupid people messing with each other? Dumb people conspiring against each other is fun.
Probably (Yes, who am I kidding), no, YES, no, Yes, no.
/obligatory
//ode to a kinder, gentler day
///Don’t ban me, bro!!
Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, No
I love quick-time harch.
As much as I love Happy Endings, it is no Community.
I REALLY hope they don’t mess with Happy Endings, with Community soon gone, and Louie and Sunny on hiatus, that would be a serious blow to my funny bone.
I meant Parks & Rec soon gone (thankfully replace by Community)
Hasn’t it been known for a while that it’s being pulled early for “Don’t Trust the Bitch in Apartment 23?”
It’s what I heard. I’ve also heard rumblings of paring it with Cougar Town on Tuesdays? That might just be internet wishful thinking.
My favourite Psych episode for some reason is the season five premiere “Romeo and Juliet and Juliet”. It just made me laugh so much.
*points to Eliza Coupe’s butt*
ENHANCE!!
*never gets special commenting priviliges thingy*
Ain’t nothing wrong with a good “ENHANCE” joke. It’s the goonery and mouthbreathery that I’m fighting a war against, not the LOLs.
As someone that breathes heavily from my mouth, I resent that.
Don’t let him fool you; it’s not his mouth.
I have been sad every since pysch killed off mary lightly, he was awesome, his line about patrick swayze in North and South being civil war buff had to be a highlight of the show
It’s funny- I think I’d be more pissed if Happy Endings got canceled than Community. I get why some people don’t like Community (even though I love it) the weird meta stuff isn’t everyone’s bag. Happy Endings is just funny as hell, smart, charming, and its on a network not run by baboon fetuses- people should be watching it.
My favorite episode of Psych is the one where Gus went to work for the President for 6 years.
I enjoy Happy Endings, but I think I figured out what my problem with it is: the characters are too cool. I mean that if I knew those people in real life, I’d desperately want to be part of their social circle, but I’m so painfully lame* that the only attention I’d get from any of them is to maybe date Penny for an episode or two.
*so lame that I’m…cool?
No.*
* – Maybe.**
** – Probably not.
If Happy Endings gets canceled (please don’t) then does Damon Wayans Jr. go back to New Girl? Or is two black guys living in a house with one white girl still too frightening for the knuckle draggers that run network television?
“Black & Tan:a crime of fashion” is my favorite Psych.
When Shawn corrects that bouncer that he was in fact Black, and Gus was Tan. I laughed my ass off. The show is so damn clever and full of 80′s movie refs.
‘Anyone have any favorite “Psych” episodes?’
The double anal episode….
I guess I could be thinking of some other show, maybe….
sorry
the best episode of Psych is “Disco Didn’t Die: It Was Murdered!”
Also, anything with Pierre Despereaux
I love Community and Happy Endings, but what Happy Endings has is you pick up more stuff to laugh at the more times you watch an episode. The writing is so damn quick. But this does not put Community down, I love that show so much that if it was an accidental pregnancy I wouldn’t immediately look to abortion as the only option.
I love Happy Endings, but it has a name destined to be used as a headline to describe early cancellation. Please fight against destiny.
