Cougar Town (ABC) – Sarah Chalke, a Bill Lawrence veteran from her tenure on “Scrubs,” begins her guest arc on the show tonight. If you’re wondering if that’s a good enough excuse to post the Turk Dance after the jump, the answer is a resounding yes.
Justified (FX) – The word on the street is that somebody’s gettin’ got tonight. And by “the street,” I mean “TV Guide and other reputable sources.” I don’t just get my TV news from weirdos on the street, people. I’m a professional. [looks at GIFs, doesn't shave for a week]
Southland (TNT) – Children in the care of a nanny go missing after her death, and the police try to track them down. Now that she’s dead, I guess C.C. can have Mr. Sheffield all to herself. (I hate myself for that joke.)
Raising Hope (FOX) – This is the episode guest starring Katy Perry, as discussed here.
Breaking In (FOX) – Season 2 premiere. Megan Mullally joins the cast as the head of a conglomerate that purchased the company. Also, Mullally and her husband, Nick Offerman (Ron F-cking Swanson), were on Marc Maron’s podcast yesterday. I wish they were my neighbors.
Tosh.0/Key & Peele (Comedy Central) – I miss “Workaholics.”
LATE NIGHT GUESTS: Joel McHale on Ferguson (DVR ALERT), and Don Cheadle and Elisha Cuthbert on Conan. Everybody else is in reruns tonight. FUN FACT: The summary for the rerun of Kimmel describes Jessica Alba as an “actor-entrepreneur.”

I could never get tired of the Turk dance
I didn’t get into Cougar Town when it started, but the way the guys here at WG talk about it made me rethink, so I gave it a shot with a couple episodes during lunch today. It was pretty boring and unfunny. I want to like it because I feel like it’ll make me cooler, but then I decided I don’t care about being cool. And that’s pretty cool, right?
Like whatever you like, homeboy. What do I know about being cool?
[puts on sunglasses, rides skateboard to arcade, babes swoon]
Don’t look at me either. I’m still on step #2 of the Turk Dance. Some day I hope to Humpty Hump.
That is sooooo lame, Taco_Jones.
What you just posted was painfully uncool.
Taco_Jones….
….I’ve revisited several shows……and they usually stay “suck”…..
I think you are plenty-cool…….
Cool…..bringing tomorrow’s “Lame” right atcha…
Breaking In is a pretty decent show, even if the lead character is a total Mosby.
Is “Breaking In” a spin-off of “Breaking Bad”?
Seems like a Justified Death Pool should be in order for tonight. I’m taking Arlo and the points.
Yeah, my money’s on Arlo, too. But I’ve got a little side action on Ava, just because it’s been a while since she shot someone or got shot, and I feel like she might be due.
Is Gary too obvious of an answer?
Considering that it’s going to be pinned on Raylan, Gary seems like the obvious choice here. He put a hit out on Raylan last season. No way he gets off scott-free.
Yeah I’m guessing Gary, on the porch of his / wynonna’s house, with a revolver (housing the bullet Raylan threw at Wynn Duffy).

Whoops, I forgot about Gary.
[tries to move money to "Gary" spot on table, gets thrown out of casino]
I’m in for Wynn Duffy getting it
Damnit — I totally forgot about Gary, just like Danger. But I’ll be godDAMNED if it’s Ava. If it’s Ava, then shit’s gonna get REAL.
I would say that it’s pretty clear who it is based on this screen cap from the preview… [img687.imageshack.us]
Chazz–not to go gun geek on you, but there are very few conventional revolvers that will shoot a bullet from a semi-auto, and it wouldn’t help anyways, as the ballistics match wouldn’t be to his gun, only to the same caliber bullet (9? .45? both very common).
JT- i actually used revolver to go along with my ‘clue’ theme (not that i knew the difference anyway). But lets say Winn put raylan’s bullet in the correct caliber semi-auto and used it to kill Gary, would they be able to pull Raylan’s print from the shell or whatever?
My years of Acronym: Generic Crime Drama tell me that the answer is “absolutely”.
The editing of the previews last week pretty much gave the death away. Kinda ticked me off considering last week could have been a nice cliff hanger.
I just hope it’s NOT Gary….
I’m actually pretty upset with myself for even having the frame of reference to deduce that you were probably making a joke about a Fran Drescher show.
I got it through process of elimination. (“Was Danza ‘Sheffield? No. Was Belvedere–oh, definitely not…”)
Screw the “inventor” of email. Turk Dance should go into the Smithsonian for moves that electrified a nation (by nation I mean 1.6 million or so he watched Scrubs weekly).
How is this only the second time the “Turk Dance” tag has been used? I say we tag every with post it from now on, and include it in the headline, too. HELLO TRAFFIC $$$
It’s because we’re idiots who have separate tags for “Turk Dance” and “The Turk Dance,” and I’m apparently the double idiot who picked the wrong one.
Double dukes!
Not a fan of Key & Peele? I think it’s the best sketch show Comedy Central’s had in a long time. Which may not sound like much of a compliment, but still.
Yeah, I agree. Terrific show. The slave auction skit might be my favorite, but Obama’s rage translator is great too.
“Workaholics” had one brilliant episode (“To Friend a Predator”), a couple solid ones, and then a whole lot of meh.
Also, too.
Have you guys ever done a Zapruder film style breakdown of the Turk Dance. And if not..WHY NOT???
