Sadly, "Happy Endings" closes out its second season tomorrow night. It doesn't get the attention of "Community" or "Parks and Recreation," but "Happy Endings" has quietly become one of the best sitcoms on television, thanks mostly to one of the best cast around. More than any other sitcom, really, the cast looks like they're having a blast making the show. There's no dead weight, either: Each character has a purpose. A year ago, I'd have never guessed that Elisha Cuthbert could be a legitimate comedic actress, but she's brilliant in "Happy Endings." In fact, each character has managed to steal a show at least once (and before you rule out Dave, remind yourself of the perm episode). I alternate weekly between favorite characters. You can watch the first four and a half minutes of the finale here, but personally, I'm going to wait and enjoy the entire experience uninterrupted.
What's also remarkable is how GIFable "Happy Endings" is, which has a lot to do with the zany physical comedy of the show. To celebrate its GIFableness, I've put together a massive slideshow of the 80 best GIFs from the show's first two seasons. I know, you're probably like, "What? 80 GIFs. Dude! I do have a life." Honestly, though, I couldn't stop myself. I spent all day Sunday collecting these, and while I managed to trim another 50 or so out of it, I didn't want to shortchange fans of the show of the rest. There's so many more I'm even tempted to add. They're all so good (if I had to pick a favorite, however, it's #63, although #56 is probably the closest thing there is to Alison Brie running). If you don't care for the show, don't waste your time. But if you love "Happy Endings," I think the entire slideshow is the GIF treat that keeps on giving. Plus, I timed it: A casual stroll through only takes two minutes and 58 seconds. It might be the best three minutes of your day.

them eliza coupe legs HNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNG!
She’s got them THAAAAANGS!!!
nice try Dustin but I’m not clicking on 80 tabs, well maybe after lunch if I can’t sleep during siesta time
+1 – She’s fucking gorgeous. And the show’s funny as well.
When this show started, I thought Elisha Cuthbert had hit a wall. Now I’ve fallen back in love with her because she’s still hot (though not as hot) and cracks me up every week.
Too much cray.
I’ve said it before, “Happy Endings” feels like they keep hitting you over the head with “LOOK AT HOW WITTY AND QUICK WE ALL ARE!” though Damon Wayans Jr has been great. The show feels too cutsey
Pandering and try-hard. None of the characters have actual personalities, they just have schticks. Give me a break.
Oh, and did I mention the lack of any subtlety? It’s like comedy for people who hear that watching witty comedies is the hot new thing but don’t get witty comedies.
Dustin, you will get my 80 clicks, and you have earned the, sir.
*them
As well as my slow clap.
Agreed. Thank you sir.
AND MY AXE
I enjoy the show but I can’t stand Penny and Dave. Have them get together so there is one storyline involving them per week.
Max as a bear is the epitome of ah-mah-zing.
There’s one episode where Max is claiming Dave as his gay boyfriend, and Dave keeps denying it. Right as he denies it again, a waited brings him his orange daquiri and Dave is like, “REALLY, GUY?! THAT’S YOUR TIMING?!”
I had to rewind it multiple times because it made me lose it. Dave is hilarious. Let us not forget the V-neck episode. By far one of the best V-neck shirt themed episodes in recent memory.
My recent favorite Dave moment is him saying, “Must we have this argument a-gain and a-gain.” I keep rewinding it.
I think I love Happy Endings most because my favorite character seems to change every week.
I think Penny is the weak link of the show if anyone, but they’re all great.
Agreed.
I would offer the Krav Maga episode from season 1 as a rebuttal. I am partial to to brunettes, though. I also always enjoyed Casey Wilson on SNL.
Elisha Cuthbert is much more entertaining without a cougar chasing her.
Good shit. I made it through all 80, though I hope my ad-blocker doesn’t cancel out the clicks.
That LeBron joke is an easy one, but it always cracks me up.
And yea Cuthbert is nice looking but, Eliza Coupe in bra and panties FTW. Wow.
Not Cuthbert in a bikini? (from the same episode as the DJ gif, I believe)
What the helling hell?
Massive oversight not including this excellent Dave moment:

I love this show. I’ve tried and tried to get my friends to watch it as well but it turns out that mice and dust bunnies don’t give a rip what’s on tv.
Also, maybe for the next time there can be one with Max slamming his hand on the table with a “Here we GO!”?
Loved all 81. Buying season 1 on DVD ASAP! Ah-mah-zing!
What episode is Max and Brad’s Side Five in? I think i missed it.
I’m so glad you took the time to credit the people who make these amazing gifs….
