The video has nothing to do with TV, but I don’t care: it’s a great song from one of America’s greatest vocalists, the Band’s Levon Helm, who passed away yesterday. Gone too soon.

Levon Helm wasn’t one of America’s greatest vocalists, he’s Canadian and Geddy Lee is Canada’s greatest vocalist.
Geddy Lee sounds like a bag full of feral cats who got bored fucking and fighting and decided to recite bad poetry.
Just learned that he was the lone American in a Canadian band. I’ll show myself out.
Levon Helm was from Arkansas. he was the only American member of the band.
I’m a fan of Rush but I concur with your assessment, Stinky. We all know that Canada’s greatest vocalist is Bryan Adams.
I thought it was Celine Dion. Or Chad Kroeger. Or Justin Bieber. Or … you know what, screw you, Canada.
RIP Levon.
Levon Helm: a true legend. Glad to see him getting so much love and respect in passing. “Music from Big Pink” one of greatest albums of all time, and “The Last Waltz” probably the best concert film of all time. And, surprisingly, Levon hated the movie. He will be missed.
HAted the movie because it became a Scorcese/Robertson love fest.
Good point. I always saw Levon as less dynamic, so Robertson naturally took the fore. But, clearly he was unhappy. Also, they were duking it out over songwriting credits, so that sore point undoubtedly did not help.
