As previously reported, Eli Manning (whose Wikipedia photo is PERFECT; he will never not look like an uncomfortable teenager having his prom photo taken) will host the May 5th episode of “SNL.” Today, in a move that can only be considered an acknowledgement of how awful that’s going to be, NBC went ahead and announced that Will Ferrell – who NFL pundits would claim “makes everyone else around him better” – will return to Studio 8H and host the May 12th episode, with musical guest Usher.
There’s not much else to say here, other than: that’s good news. My official prediction is that we will laugh, very likely more than once, and enjoy the evening, which will double as Kristen Wiig, Jason Sudeikis, and Andy Samberg’s second-to-last episode on the show. And then, for the season finale on May 19th, when Sacha Baron Cohen inevitably hosts, we’ll go back to our conflicted feelings about the show. But we’ll always have the 12th.

I will never, ever understand why people think Will Ferrell is funny. Never.
He aint no Jeff Dunham…he ain’t even Dane Cook…that’s for sure. Amright?!
Boy, that Two and a Half Men is a hoot, isn’t it?
Insult towards your sense of humor or lack thereof
I’m tired.
the key to his funny is timing something most young comics lack
I DRIVE A DODGE STRATUSS!!!
So if I don’t like Ferrell, I must like dumb humor like Dane Cook and Jeff Dunham?
yes, according to the internet…and if u dont like Alison Brie, u are a gay
No, John Cena gay.
good point, Jacktion
Well, I love Alison Brie, so I’ve got that going for me.
So long as you don’t say you hate corgis you will not incur the full-blown ire of the commentators here.
I agree with the WG horde on just about everything: corgis, Allison Brie, Louis C.K., Ron Swanson, Bring Back Matt!, etc.
Still don’t like Will Ferrell, though.
Will Ferrell is a god, and you sir don’t deserve to understand his humor
