Here is a video of dogs riding in cars, set to the song “California” by Phantom Planet. You may remember that the song was also used as the theme for the FOX teen drama “The O.C.”, which is a cool little tidbit because it gives me a legitimate excuse to post this on a website that is supposedly dedicated to television. Sometimes everything just works out, you know?

My dog will NOT sit on the passenger side. He insists on sitting on my lap while I drive.
I figure it’ll come in handy one day when I get pulled over and the cop says, “License and registration, please.” I can look at the dog and say, “Well?”
All these years I thought California was a Counting Crows songs, from their later years when everyone stopped listening to them… always figured Fox got the song on the cheap.
