Tumblr That Pairs ‘Simpsons’ and Movie GIFs Is Groin-Grabbingly Good

Whenever anything vaguely “Simpsons” related pops up on the Internet, which happens approximately 23 times every second, I want Warming Glow to cover it. I’m still disappointed we didn’t talk about the fat guy who got kicked out of the all-you-can-eat restaurant, the most blatant case of fraudulent advertising since my suit against The Never-Ending Story. But usually common sense takes a hold of us, and we talk about boobs instead.

But not this: some brilliant bastard created a Tumblr that matches “Simpsons” scenes with the movies being referenced, in GIF form (mostly). It neither sucks nor blows. “Movie Simpsons” is still pretty new, so there are only posts for “Cape Feare,” “Rosebud,” and “Homer the Vigilante,” but I really want it to keep going – I need a synchronized GIF of Bart getting pummeled with snowballs like Sonny Corleone with bullets in The Godfather.

Hm, there aren’t enough gratuitous quotes; our contracts mandate at least three per post. So let’s go with a completely out-of-context, “You know what you two need? A little comic strip called ‘Love Is...’ It's about two naked eight year olds who are married.” That’ll do.
