Knowing full well that NO ONE is talking about Men in Black III, other than to say, “There’s no way we’re seeing that piece of sh*t Men in Black III,” pimp-slap extraordinaire Will Smith went on the BBC’s “The Graham Norton Show” to play the nostalgia card: he rapped the entirety* of the theme to “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.”
(*I know it’s not the full song — there are four verses that are only heard in a few early episodes and later on Will Smith’s Greatest Hits — but something something magic xylophone.)
There are some pretty good audience reaction shots in the video, but this is my favorite:

They really relate to the song’s lyrics about chilling out, maxing, relaxing all cool and all in West Philly.

If he really wanted to impress me, he’d do the “Apache” dance.
I literally just spent about 12 seconds looking for the “like” button for this before I realized where I was.
Please welcome, Will the Thrill and Boogaloo Shrimp!
Will’s fake polite laughing is the worst.
There’s nothing genuine about that man.
What? I thought he genuinely found that funny… So much cynicism.
Him and Alfonso do “go out” with each other….Alfonso is way too busy dominating the Game Show network
DJ Jazzy Jeff just left Smith a voicemail “Hey man call me, let me help you.”
Hmmm…needs more blackface.
67% on rotten tomatoes. That’s shockingly high.
Wait, they’re making a Men in Black 3?
I love how Tom Jones totally has that “WTF, really?” look on his face half the time.
Really, I didn’t find that to be particularly odd. It seemed in no way out of the ordinary. Obviously, nothing about talking about Carlton next to Tom Jones is even remotely strange.
Men In Black 3′s tagline should be “Yes, Hollywood has COMPLETELY given up on EVER writing an original script ever again.
I can see it now: “Summer 2026, Batman 822, Pirates Of The Carribean 49 and a dramatic CGI-laden version of “PEANUTS”. They’ll eventually run out of comic book remakes….Right?
